“ Wow! We had such an incredible culinary experience in this restaurant. Everyone goes on about the Kinich restaurant, but to be honest Zamna surpassed our expectations. We had the Queso Relleno and Tzic de Venado and both plates were exquisite. The place has a really nice ambience and service was also good. Overall we recommend going to this restaurant if you are in Izamal, better prices, less busy and less touristy. ”
“ This is a gem in the Yellow city. The wait staff are elegant kind and accommodating. The atmosphere is as authentic as it can ever get. Wonderful setting with a large off-street parking area. The food is a work of art. There were three world class dishes served to our table. The waitress never stopped smiling and making sure we were given everything we asked for. My two brothers from Merida were very specific and some what of a challenge for any level waitress. Our girl (Emily?) Never once showed any stress. If I could change one thing about my meal today .... A fresh roasted Mexican coffee in house from a local coffee roaster. This is a very big part of my dinner. There is a Mayan female owned and operated coffee farm in Chiapas that would make a great addition to your 5 restaurant cuisine. Thank you for keeping the historic foods of Yucatan so amazingly delicious. Highly recommend and also recommend a reservation to be safe. ”

“ Looking for somewhere to eat in Izamal, we stumbled across this place. Being a hot day we immediately ordered a couple of beers and then decided on sharing a plate of papadzules which is a typical Yucatan dish made with pumpkin sauce. They are kind of like enchiladas with a pumpkin sauce - and they were very good. It was nice to get out of the sun and sit under a huge barn like structure and watch as the food was prepared in front of you. ”

“ We arrived quite late and close to the closing time, after one of those storms, but we were received with care and attention. Cocktails were esquisit and the food was very, very nice, and delivered quickly. We were the only ones at the restaurant and even the music was turned on for us. :D ”
“ Highly recommended, everything was wonderful, the place, the food, the service, the real taste of the local food is the first restaurant at the entrance of magic town Izamal, after lunch we went to downtown to Walk around we even visit the pyramid that is walking distance from downtown, not many tourist around sounds like not many people knows about this beautiful town. ”
